Taytay Sports Complex's Official Rules and Regulations and Guidelines

Official Rules and Regulations


  1. Time Availability: The use of the Taytay Sports Complex including its facilities is limited only from 5:00 A.M. up to 6:00 P.M. daily, except for activities officially sanctioned by the Municipal Government of Taytay.

  2. In the meantime, the use of the Taytay Sports Complex and its facilities are FREE from fees and charges. Please inform the security personnel on duty for any person/s asking for or collecting fees.

  3. Loss of Personal Items: The Municipal Government of Taytay shall not be responsible for any loss or damage of personal items or properties inside and within the premises of the Sports Complex.

  4. Accidents and Injuries: The Municipal Government of Taytay shall not be responsible for any accidents nor personal injuries that may occur inside the Sports Complex.

  5. Prohibited Items Inside the Sports Complex: The following items are NOT allowed and could not be brought inside the Sports Complex:


  • Alcoholic beverages and the like.

  • Deadly weapons, such as guns, knives, and the like.

  • Flammable substances, hazardous chemicals, and the like.


6. Any activity, aside from jogging, should first be coordinated with the Office of the Municipal Administrator for proper issuance of permits. The Municipal Government of Taytay, through the discretion of its assigned security personnel, reserves the right to refuse entry to any person or group without valid permit.


7. Vendors and Traders are strictly prohibited inside the Sports Complex.


8. The Taytay Sports Complex is a government-owned sports venue and as such, SMOKING is NOT allowed on any part of the premise, except on duly assigned smoking area(s).


9. Parking is limited and on a "first-come-first served" policy. Bear with the inconvenience as the Sports Complex continues to undergo improvements.


10. Pets will be allowed inside but NOT on the Oval Track. Please exercise Responsible Pet Ownership. Make sure your pets are using diapers.


11. While bringing of food is allowed, be advised that the Sports Complex is NOT a picnic ground. Limit food within the ACTIVITY CENTER only.


12. Unaccompanied MINORS below the age of twelve (12) will not be allowed entry inside the Sports Complex without Written Consent from authorized guardian or parents.


13. Maintain Cleanliness: Please be responsible in cleaning up and collecting your garbage/trash.

14. Please refrain from using bicycles, skates, and skateboards and other devices that may damage the Oval Track.

15. In case of Emergency, Medical Teams and authorized personnels are ready to assist you immediately. You may also contact the Taytay Command Center through this numbers: (02) 8286-6146 / +63985-488-3352, and MDRRMO: (02) 8286 6159.


Oval Track Guidelines

1. Run on a counterclockwise direction.

2. Slow walkers/new runners should use the outer lanes (Lanes no. 7 and no. 8).

3. Brisk walkers or joggers should use the middle lanes (LANES no. 4, no. 5 and no. 6).


4. Priority for using the inner lanes, LANES no. 1, no. 2, and no.3, should be for runners doing speed intervals and /or tempo runs. LANES no.1 and no. 2 are usually used and given priority to the fastest runners.


5. If you are doing speed runs at LANES no.1, and no. 2, do not stop immediately. Move towards the outer lanes and start walking.


6. If you intend to pass another runner, warn the runner ahead of you.

7. Speed drills and stretching should be done outside the oval track.

8. The Oval Track is NOT a place to "socialize." Do not stand and wander around on the track.

9. Do NOT throw anything such as water bottles, balls or water, etc. around the area where others are training.
