Taytay Recognized as One of Digital Cities
The Municipality of Taytay was honored at the Digital Cities Awards 2024 for its dedication to Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and innovation. It was held last July 24, 2024 at Fili Hotel, Nustar Resort in Cebu City. The event recognized Taytay's efforts to drive economic growth through technology and innovation.
This awarding ceremony was attended by Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Undersecretary Jocelle Batapa-Sigue, Director Emmy Lou Delfin, and members of CCAP and IBPAP. The awards highlighted Taytay’s commitment to creating a thriving community for technology and job opportunities.
Under the leadership of Honorable Mayor Allan Martine S. De Leon, MPA, Taytay continues to advance in ICT, IT-BPM, and research, supported by strategic partnerships with academia and industry. The municipality’s vision of becoming a leading ICT hub in the Philippines is within reach through collective effort.
