Official Statement from Municipality of Taytay
The Municipal Government of Taytay released an official statement addressesing recent concerns involving personnel from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) regarding the alleged use of a BFP-owned fire truck to fill a privately owned swimming pool.
We want to clarify that the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) is currently conducting a thorough investigation into this matter. We fully respect and support this process and trust that it will be carried out with the utmost fairness and diligence.
Our priority is to ensure the continued effective service of our BFP and to uphold all proper procedures. The alleged incident does not reflect the overall quality and dedication of our BFP personnel. Our local government remains committed to supporting the BFP and appreciates the vital services they provide to our community.
Rest assured, any form of misconduct will not be tolerated, and we are dedicated to promoting fairness throughout this process.
