The DSA is necessary for the development and roll-out of the Real Property Information System (RPIS) and Computer Aided Mass Appraisal (CAMA) with Graphic Information System (GIS) for Output 2 of the Local Governance Reform Project (LGRP).
This pioneer project will significantly enhance property tax collection mechanisms by developing a property valuation database and information systems in which real property taxes are assessed, collected, and managed through digital infrastructure with the end goal of promoting accountability, efficiency, and transparency in local governance processes.
The Municipality of Taytay, Rizal is selected as one of the prototypes LGUs and is the only municipality in Region 4-A selected as such.
